Farmers protest against auction of land in Bathinda

BATHINDA: Balianwali farmers staged a protest at the Naib Tehsil Complex on Tuesday against auction of land of a debt-ridden farmer. After knowing about the auction of eight Kanal and 10 marla land of debt-ridden Buta Singh of Mandi Khurd village, farmers under the banner of BKU (Ekta-Ugrahan) gathered at the Naib Tehsildar office and raised slogans.
