16-year-old girl dies after wall collapse

HISAR: A 16-year-old girl who was allegedly abducted on Monday night, by a youth in her neighbour, died after a wall of an abandoned building collapsed on her here in Hansi, subdivision of district Hisar on Tuesday.

The family members also suspected that the accused raped her after kidnapping. Victim’s mother told police that she was sleeping with her daughter and two sons, and at around 11 pm on Monday, when she woke-up she did not found her daughter.

It has been alleged in the police complaint that Dinesh Kumar, who is known to the girl, abducted her and took her to a room at an abandoned factory. Sources said victim’s cousin brothers Pradeep and Sandeep later found the girl with Dinesh and verbal spat ensued between them. Itwasalso mentionedthat when Di ne sh tried to flee from the spot, a wall suddenly collapsed and fell on the girl’s head and she died on the spot. ASP Rajesh Kumar said, “A case under Sections363, 366A, 304 and202 ofthe IPC has been registered. Police will add rape case if found during the postmortem reports.” HTC
