Man ends life after killing his two minor children
HISAR: Allegedly upset over marital dispute, a 30-year-old man killed his two minor children by poisoning them and then committed suicide in Tohana town of Fatehabad district on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as Su nil Kumar ,30, a resident of Sap ra colony of To han a, his sixyear-old son Gan es hand threeyear-old daughter Ma him aR a ni.
Deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Samsher Singh Dahiya, said, “Sunil first gave a poisonous substance to his son and daughter and later consumed it himself. While the kids died on the spot, Su nil died on way to hospital .”
Victim’s brother Sikander Singh said, “It was about 7am when my mother called Si kan dar for breakfast. As there was no response, she went inside his room and saw the bodies of two children lying on the floor and Sunil gasping for life. She called the neighbours who rushed him to hospital, but he died on way to the Agroha medical college.”

Police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against Sunil’s wife Sonia, father-in-law Om Prakash and mother-in-law Shambho Devi, residents of Hansi sub-division in Hisar district.
Sources said the police recovered a suicide note from the victim’s possession.
DS PD a hi ya, said ,“We came to know that there was a dispute going in between Sunil and his wife Sonia for the past two years. Sonia had left his house a few days ago and was living with her parents in Hansi.
Sunil has been upset over the issue, which could be reason behind his suicide.”
Police sent the bodies of the deceased to the Fate ha bad general hospital for postmortem and started investigations into the matter.
