“I just want to say other women that the way my daughter has made us proud, they should also give their daughter a chance to live their dream and shouldn’t kill them in the womb,” Harmanpreet Kaur’s mother Satvinder Kaur said.

DAD’S THE MAN

Sat vin der gave the credit of Harman preet Kaur’s achievement to her father, Harmander Bhullar saying he supported her the most and was the one to take her to grounds for practice when she was a kid.

Meanwhile, Harmanpreet Kaur’s father wished the Indian cricket team luck to bring the World Cup trophy home and to make the nation proud. “I just wish the Indian women team all the luck. I hope Harmanpreet keeps playing the way she has been and bring the World Cup to India and make the nation proud,” he said.

SHE’LL BE RELIEVED

“I am so proud of Harman. She has made not only us but the whole nation proud by doing well in the crucial match. She was really frustrated on missing out in the previous matches due to the finger injury she suffered against the West Indies. “She will be relieved. Waheguruji has blessed my daughter today and hope to see India making it to the final and at Lords,” he added.

A magnificent unbeaten century from Harmanpreet Kaur helped India beat Australia by 36 runs in the semi-final of the Women’s World Cup at the county ground in Derby.
