Debtridden farmer ends life in Muktsar

MUKTSAR: A farmer, Balwinder Singh, 55, committed suicide by jumping in a canal at Bhullar village in Muktsar on Tuesday. The body was found from a canal near the the village. Muktsar SHO Periwinkle Grewal said, "The farmer was depressed as he failed to repay the loan.”
