WHY IS MODI SILENT?

Some days ago, electronic media personnel fired a volley of questions on Prime Minister Naren- dra Modi. He chose to ignore them. Some BJP leaders who were standing with the PM ridiculed the press. Such incidents remind us of Dr Manmohan Singh, who voluntarily organised media briefings and answered all tough questions. Manmohan never shied away from responding to the media, even as he was aware that a propaganda machinery was at work against him. Modi, on the other hand, has hardly said anything on pertinent issues relating to valley and the proactive leaders of state are in hibernation. What is Modi’s compulsion to stay silent?
