Punjab AAP unit appoints heads of dists, corporatio­ns

STATE AAP UNIT COPRESIDEN­T AMAN ARORA ALSO NAMES 10 SPOKESPERS­ONS, INCLUDING HARJOT SINGH BAINS AS CHIEF SPOKESPERS­ON

CHANDIGARH: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) state co-president Aman Arora, who was given the responsibi­lity of restructur­ing the party, on Wednesday announced the names of its district presidents, corporatio­n presidents and spokespers­ons.

Arora said he has selected various office-bearers with the consent of state party president Bhagwant Mann, after receiving feedback from all quarters within the party during his statewide tour ‘AAP Apniya Naal’.

He said he has named 22 district presidents, 6 corporatio­n presidents and 10 spokespers­ons.

Harjot Singh Bains has been appointed as chief spokespers­on while Jagtar Singh Sanghera, Boota Singh Ashant, Chander Suta Dogra and Dr Balbir Singh will be among spokespers­ons.

The district presidents include Ravinder Bhalla (Pathankot), Gurpartap Singh Khushalpur (Gurdaspur), Pargat Singh Chogawan( Amritsar ), Manjinder Singh Sidhu (Tarn Taran), Sajjan Singh Cheema (Kapurthala), Sarwan Singh Hayer (Jalandhar), Gurvinder Singh Pabla (Hoshiarpur), Rajinder Sharma (Nawanshahr) and Malkit Thind (Ferozepur).

Other district chiefs are Samarbir Singh (Fazilka), Jagdeep Singh Fattanwala (Muktsar), Advocate Gurwinder Singh Khatriwal (Mansa), Lakhbir Singh Rai (Fatehgarh Sahib), Ranjit Singh Dhamot (Ludhiana), Advocate Ramesh Grover (Moga), Master Hardyal Singh (Rupnagar), Advocate Darshan Singh Dhaliwal (Mohali), Rajwinder Singh Ghulli (Sangrur), Kuldeep Singh Kala Dhillon (Barnala), Advocate Gian Singh Mungo (Patiala), Navdeep Jeeda (Bathinda) and Sanakdeep Singh (Faridkot).

The Aam Aadmi Party state AAP unit co-president further informed that the names of frontal wing heads and zonal officebear­ers will be announced shortly.
