Cop’s carbine snatched

LUDHIANA: Three car-borne persons snatched a carbine of ahead constable of the PCR at Jhande village on Tuesday night. Head constable Chet Singh and Sukhjeet Singh were on patrolling duty. The cops said they signal led a Maruti Alto car to stop, but the driver sped away. They chased the car. The head constable hit the car windowpane with the handle of his carbine. But the suspects snatched it and fled. HTC
