Cotton crop in Bathinda inundated with sewage

BATHINDA : A 30-foot breach in sludge carrier from Bathinda city near Gehri Bhagi village caused inundation of cotton fields and in many low-lying areas in the city on Wednesday. With the barrier gone, sewage entered parts of the city and inundated the fields as well. However, repairs were started and the breach was plugged.
