Aadhaar must for aid for freedom fighters’ kin

CHANDIGARH: Haryana government has made it mandatory to provide financial assistance for the marriage of grand-daughters of freedom fighters and INA personnel belonging to Haryana and their widows only through Aadhaarlinked bank accounts. An official said it was also decided that claim for assistance of ₹ 51,000 will be made within six months from the date of marriage through deputy commissioner.
