4 lakh looted from private school, 3 booked

HOSHIARPUR: Guru Harkrishan Public School on Tanda Road was robbed by 3 unidentified burglars in wee hours of Wednesday. They allegedly fled with ₹4 lakh cash, after injuring 2 security guards.At around 5.30 am, guard, Mohinder Lal, informed principal Kiranpreet Kaur Dhami about the incident. The security guard inside the premises was rendered unconscious as he was hit with iron rods,” DSP Harjinder Singh said. “The guard at the gate was assaulted,” said the DSP. Guard, Gulwinder Singh was referred to PGI. Police have registered a case against under Sections 459 , 380 of the IPC.
