BATALA : 28-year-old man reportedly committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at Bhagwan village on Wednesday. In his complaint, deceased’s father, Paramjeet Singh, said, ”My son, Rajbir Singh, got married 2 years back. Our neighbourers, Vikramjeet Singh and Rachpal Singh, used to harass his wife.” “On Tuesday both started abusing him. ”They threatened him of consequences if he tried to lodge complaint ,” he said. “Unable to bear the harassment, my son committed suicide.The police have registered a case under Section 306 of IPC against accused.
