Freedom fighter association starts hunger strike

MUKTSAR: Freedom Fighter Successors organisation on Saturday started a hunger strike in Gidderbaha seeking action against SHO Kotbhai Krishan Kumar. The protesters accuse the SHO of torturing Jagroop Singh, grandson of freedom fighter Labh Singh. Gidderbaha DSP Rajpal Singh said, “Investigation is on and action will be taken after inquiry. He denied any political pressure.”
