Businessman duped of ₹25 lakh by fatherson duo

A city businessman was duped of ₹25 lakh after two traders, who took the shuttering material from his store to be further subrented, vanished with it and did not came to pay the monthly rent. The incident came to light when the victim went to the trader’s shop and found it shut. He said he learned that they had closed down the business one month ago. The victim rushed to the trader’s house in Sunctiy, Sector 54 and found it locked too. A case of fraud was registered at Sector 53 police station on Friday after the investigation was conducted by the team. According to the police, Naresh Bhutani, the businessman, came in contact with Indresh and Varun, father and son who lived in Suncity. The accused used to take the shuttering items on rentand deliver these to contractors.
