GOVT ANNOUNCES JANMASHTAMI HOLIDAY ON AUG 14

CHANDIGARH:

The Haryana government has announced that August 1 will be observed as a public holiday on account of Krishna Janmashtmi, instead of August 15, as notified earlier. All employees posted in government offices and boards, corporations and educational institutions will be entitled to this holiday, an official release said on Saturday.
