JALANDHAR: Three unidentified bike-borne youth looted ₹37,000 at gunpoint from the workers of a Gas Service Company in Mokhe village, 10km from the district headquarters, on Saturday.

There were around 10 workers in the godown of Indane Gas Service when the robbers committed the crime.

As per police, the youth were armed with weapons and fled with the money kept in the bag. Forensic experts were also called to the spot.

The DSP said that the accused knew the workers as they called a worker by his name. He said, “Accused will be arrested soon. We have vital inputs about them. The CCTV footages are also being scanned.” HTC
