MOTHER, THREE DAUGHTERS BURNT ALIVE IN FIRE

JAUNPUR: A woman and her three daughters were burnt to death when their house caught fire due to an electrical short-circuit, an official said on Saturday. “The incident took place at around 12.30am in Daudpur village of Barsathi area of the district,” said district magistrate of Jaunpur, Sarvagyaram Mishra. “Twenty-eight-year-old Kusum and her three daughters, seven-year-old Anjali, five-year-old Anshika and two-year-old Aayushi were sleeping, when the short circuit took place leading to a fire in the house,” he said. Police said all the bodies have been sent for post- mortem.
