LUDHIANA JEWELLER DUPED OF ₹1.5 CRORE

LUDHIANA: The division number 8 police have booked two men for duping partner in Nikkamal Jewellers of 2.33 lakh US dollars (₹1.50 crore approx) on Monday. A case under Sections 406, 420 and 120-B of the IPC has been registered against the accused, identified as Sanjiv Jain and Vipul Jain. Complainant Chanderkant Jain said he sent two parcels of jewellery to foreign countries through the accused. The accused collected the payment from buyers but did not deposit it with them.
