Haryana CM announces medical college for Gurgaon

GURGAON: Ha ryan a chief minister Man oh ar L al K hat tar hoisted the tricolour at the Tau Dev iL al stadium on the occasion of the country’s 71 st Independen­ce Day.

Speaking on the occasion, Khattar a medical college would be opened at a cost of ₹300 cr ore in Gurugram. This college would have facility of 750 beds and 150 MBBS seats.

It would be named after Mata Sheet la De vi and would be developed by three agencies namely Gurugram Metropolit­an Developmen­t Authority (GMDA), Municipal Corporatio­n Gurugram (MCG) and Mata Sheetla De vi Shrine Board. While GM DA and MC G would share 40 percent each, Shrine Board would contribute 20 per cent in the Medical College.”

He also granted special remission to prisoners who are undergoing sentence as a result of their conviction by the courts of criminal jurisdicti­on in the state.

The chief minister honour ed 43 persons from different streams for excellent achievemen­ts and performanc­es to encourage people for the good work, followed by his speech with announceme­nts of various projects and schemes.
