CHANDIGARH: The Haryana revenue and disaster management department will launch a cloudbased centralised online system Web-HALRIS to manage property registration and land records. The system is currently being tested.

Stating this on Tuesday, revenue and disaster management minister Capt Abhimanyu directed officers to roll out new initiatives in a time-bound manner.

The minister was reviewing the progress of digitisation of land records, property registration and other e-governance initiatives taken to ease the interface of the public with the department.

An official spokesperson said Haryana is the first state to integrate property registration, mutations and jamabandi processes using HARIS and HALRIS software.

This integrated system automatically verifies the ownership and share of the seller prior to the registration of the sale of land. It also facilitates the sanctioning of the mutation of the land thus registered.
