Gang of thieves busted with arrest of three in Kotkapura

FARIDKOT : Kotkapura police claim to have busted a gang of thieves operational in Muktsar and Faridkot with the arrest of three miscreants on Tuesday. The accused — Parminder Singh, Sarabjit Singh and Chamkaur Singh, all of Faridkot — had burgled a house in Kotkapura on August 6 and decamped with jewellery valued at around Rs 1.5 lakh and a mobile phone. Police have recovered five tola gold, 12 tola silver, a smart phone and a wrist watch from the trio.
