SIT formed to trace missing IIM student

SHIMLA : Over a month after Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow student Subhadip Das, 26, went missing, the Himachal Pradesh Police on Tuesday constitute­d a threemembe­r special investigat­ion team (SIT) to probe the case.

“Police have constitute­d the SIT and photograph­s have been distribute­d. I have spoken with the officials concerned and asked them to search for the missing youth. The team will inquire about him in all tourist places in Kinnaur besides tourist service providers,” said director general of police (DGP) Somesh Goyal.

The SIT will be headed by deputy superinten­dent of police (DSP) CP Singh.
