PM MODI TO VISIT FLOODHIT BIHAR ON AUGUST 26

PATNA : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will conduct an aerial survey of flood-hit areas in Bihar on August 26, even as the toll following the devastating deluge increased to 341 on Tuesday. Deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, who confirmed the PM’s aerial survey plan for Saturday, however, refused to divulge the PM’s itinerary saying details would be announced later. Meanwhile, the toll mounted to 341 with 37 more deaths reported from different flood-hit districts, including a dozen from the worst-hit Kishanganj, on Tuesday.
