‘WE ARE NOT STOCKING WEAPONS’

-

SANGRUR: A day after police claimed that Dera Sacha Sauda’s “naam charcha ghar” (congregation centres) have started storing petrol, diesel and weapons, the dera management on Wednesday denied it.

“There are around 200 centres across Punjab and not even one has stored petrol or weapons. Police are free to conduct a check,” said Harinder Mangwal, dera member executive.

“We have urged dera followers for peace,” said Sarwan Kumar, a member of the political affairs wing of the dera.
