SAD team to visit J&K

CHANDIGARH : Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Singh Badal on Sunday expressed shock at the death of a Sikh girl, Ram an deep K au rP inky, a native of Sikh populated village Taral in Kashmir.

He said the news of death of Ramandeep has sent shock waves in the community. Ramandeep was a talented student who was pursuing MBA in Islamic University of Science and Technology.

In a statement, SAD spokesman Daljit Singh Cheema said that Sukhbir has constituted three-member panel which will go to Kashmir to ascertain the circumstances of the girl’s deathand submit its report. The committee members will comprise former SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur, MP Prem Singh Chandumajra and party general secretary and former minister Maheshinder Singh Grewal.
