FINANCIAL AID FOR DECEASED EMPLOYEES’ KIN REVISED

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government has decided to revise the ex gratia pay/financial assistance paid to the families of deceased government employees who died between August 1, 2006 and December 31, 2015.

Announcing this on Sunday, chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar said such families would now get ex gratia pay/ financial assistance as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) recommendations. At present, the bereaved families are getting a sum equal to the pay and other allowances last drawn by the deceased employees. HTC
