FEROZEPUR ROAD MISHAP KILLS 5
FARIDKOT: Five people, including a child, were killed and four injured in a collision between a car and a van near Ferozepur district’s Kot Karor Kalan village, 24 km from here, on the Amritsar-Bathinda highway, on Saturday.
Rupinderpal Singh, 60, a resident of Mumbai was travelling with his wife Gurmeet Kaur, 55, daughter Jaismeen, 25, son Har- mit Singh, 28, and driver Lali, 35.
The family was on a pilgrimage and had paid obeisance at the Golden Temple on Friday, following which they were headed to Damdama Sahib and Baba Farid Gurdwara in Faridkot.

Satinder Singh, his wife Sabarjeet Kaur, seven-year-old son La vi were in the van that Ta rs em Singh, 29, was driving. Tarsem and Lavi were declared brought dead. Satinder and Sabarjeet are critical. The couple is from Jhabal village in Tarn Taran. They hired a cab and were visiting their relatives in Faridkot .
