India under17 football team gets massive boost

AHMEDABAD: Pawan Munjal, chairman, MD and CEO, Hero MotoCorp, met with the Indian U-17 football team and extended his best wishes for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, at a special ceremony here on Saturday. During the run-up to the U-17 World Cup, Hero MotoCorp had also organised a nationwide ‘Trophy Experience’ Tour, where fans had the opportunity to witness the actual U-17 World Cup Winner’s Trophy in person. Meanwhile, the Ahmedabad City leg of Reliance Foundation Youth Sports school and college football championship was launched on Friday, with the foundation chairperson Nita Ambani extending her best wishes to the team. “These are wonderful times for Indian football,” she said.
