Two snatchers held; drugs, bikes, mobiles recovered

JALANDHAR: The police have arrested two snatchers and seized stolen mobiles, bikes and intoxicant powder from their possession here on Monday. The accused are Gobi nd ,24, and Lovepreet,27, both of Ahmed pur village in Kapurth ala district.

Kartarpur DSP Sarbjeet Rai said ,“On receiving a tipoff, Maqsud an SH O inspector J as win der Singh and his team laid a trap on Wariyana village road and stopped two bike-borne youth for checking. Both accused tried to flee the spot. ”The cops found 220gm intoxicant powder from their possession.DSP said, both accused are drug addicts. The duo have been booked under relevant Sections of IPC. HTC
