SECULAR STATE

-

Apropos your editorial on this subject on Oct 9, practice of any faith or religion should entirely be in the private domain and with full freedom, but without causing any hurt to anyone. It should be excluded at the state level. In official capacity, there should be no show or mention of any ‘ism’, no messages of greetings on any community’s religious festivals, no visits to religious shrines and no donations to any religious community in any way. Religious institutions are getting enough donations to take care of their affairs. Tejinder Singh Kalra,

Mohali
