Woman loses chain, ring and earrings with braid

SRINAGAR: On the morning of October 8, Manzoora Bano (name changed), 30, was in the courtyard of her house on the outskirts of Srinagar hanging her laundry to dry. Her husband was out buying bread. She said two men suddenly rushed to her. One was fully masked and the other partially masked, “with a dark complexion”. She says that one of the men pulled her braid while another sprayed something on her face and she lost consciousness. When she regained her senses, she found half of her braid was cut. She also said that the attackers stole her gold chain, earrings and a ring.
