SAFETY OF SCHOOL CHILDREN

The editorial ,‘ The court order on school safety is a warning bell’ (HT, Oct 12), should be enough to make school managements think about the security and safety of students. It is feared that the additional cost in carrying out this direction will be passed onto parents. Besides, safety and security of children is an issue not only of private institutions but government schools as well. The governments hould also ponder over this issue. Education, not political considerations, should matter to the government. SKumar, Panchkula
