Sena leader’s SUV runs over two schoolgirls

PUNE: Two young schoolgirls died after they were run over on Thursday morning by a vehicle belonging to Pappu Mane, a prominent leader of the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra’s Baramati region. Mane is now being questioned by the police, who confirmed that he was not in the car at the time of the accident. The early-morning accident triggered a protest from the locals and the vehicle, which was involved in the accident, was set ablaze.
