Prez to inaugurate Gita Mahotsav in Kurushetra on November 25

CHANDIGARH: PresidentR­amNath Kovindw ill inaugurate the Internatio­nal Gita Ma ho ts a vat Kurukshetr­a on November 25.

Over 25 lakh people are likely to participat­e in the Mahotsav this year as against the arrival of 20 lakh last year. The valedictor­y session of the three-day seminar will be held at Brahm aS aro var as ‘San tS am mel an’ on November 27 in which many religious scholars and seers from all over the world will participat­e.

A lightand-sound show with 3-D mapping at the Brahma Sarovar would give an additional dimension to the festival.

In a first, the Gita Mahotsav would witness two coffee-table books titled ‘Incredible Kurukshetr­a’ in English and ‘Atulya Kurukshetr­a’ in Hindi.

Theatrical performanc­es by artistes from India and abroad would be held from November 25 to 30. On November 30, dancer and actress He ma Mali ni will perform a dance show.
