BJP leader Vinay Katiyar’s statement that Taj Mahal is built over a Shiva temple is not in national interest. His statement adds fuel to the tensions centered on religion. Such statements are aimed at gaining fame and drive political mileage out of it. Such irresponsible statements must be condemned by senior party leaders like the Prime Minister. Instead of giving such statements, the BJP leader should discuss issues like providing basic amenities to people, education, price rise, corruption and unemployment. Manmeet Singh Patpatia,
