Japan to relax visa regime for Indians from Jan 2018

NEWDELHI: Japan will simplify its visa rules from January 1, 2018, for Indians applying for multiple-entry visa for short-term stay, a move that is expected to benefit tourists and business persons as well as repeat visitors, the Japanese embassy said on Tuesday. The relaxed visa regime will not only have simplification of visa application documents but also expansion of scope of eligible applicants.
