Developmen­t charges fixed for 15 Gurgaon colonies

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government has fixed the rate of developmen­t charges in 15 colonies of Gurgaon and nine colonies of Faridabad, urban local bodies minister Kavita Jain said on Friday.

Stating that a proposal to this effect had been approved by chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar, she said the colonies had been divided into three categories and after the developmen­t charges are paid, residents will be provided all infrastruc­ture facilities.

She added colonies with collector rate above ₹10,000 per square feet had been kept under category A and developmen­t charges here had been fixed at ₹1,250 per square feet.

Colonies with collector rate between ₹7,500 and ₹10,000 per square feet had been kept under category B with developmen­t charges, at ₹1,000 per square feet.

Colonies with collector rate below ₹7,500 per square feet had been kept under category C and developmen­t charges had been fixed at ₹750 per square feet.

Colonies in Faridabad under category A were Deep ali Enclave extension, Numberdar Colony extension, Surya Colony exten-

sion, Jeldar Colony, Mahveer Colony and Subhash Nagar. Bharat Colony extension-II, Dabua Colony extension-II and Gajipur Colony were covered under category B.

In Gurgaon, colonies in Gurgaon that were covered are Cancon Enclave part-I and II, Bhim Colony, Hari Nagar extension part-I and II, Shri Ram Colony, Devi Lal extension, New Jyoti Park Colony, Patel Nagar extension, Shiv Nagar, Vikar Nagar, Tikri, Ghasola village, Nararpur Rupa, area around Jharsa village extension, Surat Nagar phase-I extension and Harsaru.
