CHANDIGARH: Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced that Government Middle School in Pun han a Block of district Nuh will soon be upgraded till Class 12. The CM addressed 270 grivances and complaints as part of a ‘Janata Darbar’ held at Government Women College, Salaheri, in the district on Friday.

The CM also ordered the suspension of Nuh civil surgeon Dr Ram Siwach after a complainan­t alleged that doctors at Al Afia General Hospital, Mandi Khera, had demand bribe.

On a complaint that government funds in municipal committee, Nuh, had been embezzled, he directed that the matter would be investigat­ed by the vigilance department.

The CM also ordered the transfer of reader, Ratan Singh, to Nuh SP after several complaints were made against him.

The chief minister also urged citizens and farmers to adopt micro and drip irrigation meth- ods, and save water.

On a demand regarding replacemen­t of damaged electricit­y wires, he urged people to reduce line-loss so that uninterrup­ted power could be supplied. He also urged people to stop theft of electricit­y and pay bills on time.

On issues related to roads, canal water and replacemen­t of electricit­y wires, he directed officers to redress complaints on the spot.

Earlier, on Friday. the CM dedicated projects worth ₹ 119 crore to people of Nuh.

Those present included Public Works (buildings and roads) minister Rao Narbir Singh; minister of state for public health engineerin­g Dr Banwari Lal, MLA, Sohna Tejpal Tanwar and others.
