AUTHORITIES HAVE ALSO PUT HISAR ON ALERT FOR THE TWO RALLIES ON SUNDAY

HISAR:Former president of Hisar district unit of All India Jat Aaraskshan Sangharsh Samiti (AIJASS) Krishan Kirmara has demanded that the Haryana government must now allow the organisation’s national president, Yashpal Malik, address rallies in Haryana.

“The AIJASS national president, Yashpal Malik, is trying to divide the Jat community and illegally using funds collected during Jat protest. The government must ban him from entering Haryana and to hold rallies,” Kirmara claimed.

“Malik removed me from the post when I asked him to provide details of how the funds were being used. The government must ensure that Kurukshetra MP Raj Kumar Saini is reined in. He must not issue statements that insult the Jat community,” he added.

He accused the AIJASS under Yashpal Malik of ‘forgetting’ to fight for the main demand of Jats — reservation and to free Jat men who, he claimed were innocent, but had lodged in jail.

Meanwhile, authorities have also put Hisar on alert for the two rallies on Sunday — the AIJASS rally in Rohtak and BJP MP Raj Kumar Saini’s rally in Jind. A posse of police personnel had been deployed on the outskirts of the city on the Hisar-Jind road to maintain law and order.
