WE SHOULDN’T FORGET TO LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST BEFORE GIVING UP ON IT

For many days I was upset and didn’t want to talk to anyone. But then I decided to talk to myself. It was a calming and fulfilling experience. It’s something everyone must try because it helps in finding answers. On doing so, I realised that my input of hard work has always been more than the output — i.e. the rewards are seldom reflective of the effort gone into the work. I thought: ‘I deserve much more in life, as I’ve sacrificed a lot’.

As I was introspecting, the phone rang. It was a friend who was feeling shattered, as he had suffered a financial crisis. He had been duped of money and ₹3 crore of that! I consoled him and he seemed to be feeling better, because sometimes, all you need at such moments is someone who can listen to you let out the pain.

Interestingly, after the conversation, something struck me — life’s reality is that no one in this world is free of problems. The ultimate goal of life is to live it happily.

In today’s modern world, life is fast. At a snap of the fingers we get what we desire. Technology has enabled many things unimaginable earlier. However, our problems have expanded manifold. But whatever the concern might be, we need to face problems with courage and find solutions to get past these hurdles—at the same time we have to live life to the fullest. It’s important to remember to live life before leaving it.
