LISTEN TO THE FARMERS’ CRY

Around 30,000 farmers have marched 200km to Mumbai, the financial capital of the country, to seek correct and remunerative price for crops. Mumbai is on the list of top 15 richest cities in the world and yet people who feed the city are treated in such a shoddy manner. In such a scenario, the thought of spending thousands of crores of rupees on a bullet train seems criminal. As ordinary citizens, do we need it?
