CHANDIGARH: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has decided to contest all Lokh Sabha and Vidhan Sabha seats in the next elections in Haryana. Interacting with media at the Chandigarh press club on Friday, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Gupta along with AAP’s Haryana convener Naveen Jaihind revealed that the party will contest elections in Haryana and is working hard to strengthen its base in the state.

“We will field candidates in all the state assembly seats as well as the Lokh Sabha seats,” said Gupta, who held the press briefing for the first time after being elected to the upper house of Parliament.

Sushil Gupta was selected by AAP as one of its Rajya Sabha candidate in January with an aim of expanding the party base in Haryana.

“Delhi is AAP’s success story and we will replicate it in Haryana. The party will follow the same election strategy as they did in the capital, said Gupta.

“Our volunteers across the state have already started interacting with people and are taking feedback and discussing their problems. We will increase the party activities in all the 90 state assembly segments after the Hisar rally,” he said.

HISAR RALLY ON MAR 25

AAP will also hold a rally in Hisar on March 25. “The BJP government has halted the states’ progress. We will highlight the failure of the BJP government in the rally,” said Jaihind.

“The rally will attract more crowd than Amit Shah’s Jind rally and it will turn out to be a game changer in the state. If we want to save Haryana, we have to keep the BJP away,” added Jaihind.
