IT’S A CONSPIRACY TO SAVE SUBSIDISED POWER: SUKHBIR

-

JALANDHAR:Terming the delay of five days (over the last year) in sowing paddy a well-planned conspiracy, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal said that the ruling Congress government wants to give minimum subsidised electricity to the farmers.

“Postponing the date to sow paddy is a well planned conspiracy of the Congress government with an aim to give minimum subsidised electricity to the farmers. The government is just thinking their own benefit and not that how much farmers will face loss just due to this delay,” said Sukhbir, in town to see SAD leader Sarabjit Singh Makkar, who had sustained injuries in a road accident. “June 20 is too late to cultivate the paddy as it will result in the high moisture content in the crop.”
