Bengal govt gives job to Afrazul Khan’s daughter
BERHAMPORE: The West Bengal government on Tuesday gave a job to the daughter of migrant labourer from Malda, Afrajul Khan, 49, who was hacked to death and burnt alive in Rajasthan in December 2017. The crime by Sambhulal Regar, 50, who claimed to be the supporter of the saffron camp, triggered criticism by the Bengal’s ruling party and prompted chief minister Mamata Banerjee to declare that the administration would provide a job for Khan’s family. The appointment letter of Rejina Khatun, 22, was handed over to his her mother.
