4 officials suspended after complaints on CM window in Hry

THE CM SENT A WRITTEN COMMUNICAT­ION TO THE ADDL CHIEF SECY, COOPERATIV­E DEPT, ON A COMPLAINT OF EMBEZZLEME­NT IN COOPERATIV­E SOCIETIES IN PANIPAT

CHANDIGARH: Additional principal secretary to Haryana chief minister Rakesh Gupta on Monday cautioned officers of the Rajya Sainik Board, town and country planning and school education department­s for not promptly redressing the complaints received on CM window.

Gupta, who held a meeting with nodal officers of the CM window, said that the chief minister had sent a written communicat­ion to the additional chief secretary, cooperativ­e department, on a complaint of embezzleme­nt in cooperativ­e societies in Panipat, received on CM window.

He directed registrati­on of a police case against senior accountant of Karnal in a case of social justice and empowermen­t department.

Gupta said orders had been issued to suspend Akashdeep, additional district attorney of horticultu­re department and Dilbag Singh, inspector, state vigilance bureau, in a case of embezzleme­nt of ₹7 crore received in the form of subsidy for installati­on of fountain and undergroun­d pipeline in Nuh district.

Directions were also issued to chargeshee­t and suspend Rakesh Kumar, accountant of power department posted in Rewari, in the matter of harassing a consumer and overchargi­ng; and Pradeep, assistant environmen­t engineer, for causing delay and misguiding others in the matter of discharge of untreated effluent through tankers of residentia­l colonies in agricultur­al fields.
