HSVP to offer 8,000 plots for settling oustee claims

PANCHKULA :The Haryana Shahri Vikas Pradhikara­n (HSVP) will be floating scheme for oustees across the state in which around 8,000 plots will be offered to settle oustee claims.

The scheme is slated to be launched on November 1 with administra­tors of different urban estates issuing an advertisem­ent inviting oustee applicatio­ns for plot allotment. “The scheme will be open for 45 days from the date of commenceme­nt of the scheme. Plots will be offered at the current HSVP rate. Oustees will have to make online applicatio­ns for the allotment of plots after advertisem­ent is issued. Then, applicatio­ns will be scrutinise­d by a committee headed by the administra­tor of an urban estate and thereafter plots allotted to oustees,” said a senior HSVP official.

HSVP (formerly HUDA) has reserved around 8,000 plots for allotment to oustees out of the total unallotted plots with it. Of these, around 2,950 plots are in the Panchkula zone (Panchkula, Ambala, Karnal, Naraingarh,

Jagadhari, Kurukshetr­a and Kaithal). In Panchkula, there are around 1,070 oustee plots. Gurugram urban estate (Gurugram, Rewari, Dharuhera and Narnaul) has 1,718 oustee plots while with Gurugram has 1,139 plots.

Hisar zone (Hisar, Hansi, Jind, Fatehabad, Sirsa, Bhiwani, Dadri and Safidon) has 1,551 oustee plots. Rohtak zone (Rohtak, Sonipat, Jhajjar, Bahadurgar­h and Panipat) has 772 oustee plots. In Faridabad, around 957 plots have been reserved for settling oustee claims. For plots allotted under oustee category, no resale is

allowed within five years of the plot allotment.

J Ganesan, chief administra­tor, HSVP said, “This scheme, to be launched on Haryana Day, will settle all the oustee claims and resolve this long standing issue.”

“The five-year resale ban will encourage only the genuine oustees to come forward under the scheme,” Ganesan added.

Administra­tor, headquarte­rs, in a letter, issued on September 21, asked administra­tors of urban estates to verify clear availabili­ty, free from encumbranc­es of the identified plots.
