Expelled SAD leaders to hold another show of strength on Dec 5

AMRITSAR : Another show of strength by the three expelled Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leaders of Majha region is scheduled for December 5.
Three expelled Akali leaders — Member of Parliament (MP) from Khadoor Sahib segment Ranjit Singh Brahmpura, Ex-MP Rattan Singh Ajnala and former minister Sewa Singh Sekhwan — had raided the banner of revolt against Sukhbir Singh Badal and Bikram Singh Majithia.
Ravinder Singh Brahmpura said they are organising public meeting in Khadoor Sahib constituency’s village Naurangabad on December 5.
Before his expulsion, Brahmpura had organised, a similar meeting to show his strength against the party leadership in historic Chohla Sahib village of his constituency last month.
He said the meeting in which people of around a dozen villages are taking part is expected to be a big rally..
“During the Naurangabad meeting, we will expose the antisikh faces in Akali Dal,” said Ravinder Singh Brahmpura.
The expelled Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leaders of Majha region will announce their further course of action against the party leadership will make an announcement during a press conference at Brahmpura’s residence in Amritsar on Sunday.
It was an apprehension that the expelled SAD leaders may float a new party. However, Ravinder Singh Brahmpura clarified that they will not float any new party. “We will make a big announcement besides disclosing our future course of action against the party’s leadership, particularly against the party president Sukhbir Singh Badal and his brother-in-law Bikram Singh Majithia,” Ravinder Singh Brahmpura said.
The five leaders were expelled by the SAD for ‘involving in anti-party activities’.
