Brace for revolution, right-wing leaders tell workers in HP
SHIMLA : Brace yourselves for kranti (revolution)! This was a clarion call by the right-wing leaders to its workers as they raised pitch for the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and other right-wing organisations including the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh congregated here as they started its state-wide campaign “Shanknad” in Shimla on Thursday.
In order to muster support for the Ram Temple, VHP’s international president and former governor Vishnu Sadashiv Kokje said, “We are now convinced that this decision is not going to come in near future. We will not wait for decision.”
“Unfortunately Narsimha Rao-led Congress government had passed a law that status relating to these mosques will be maintained as on August 1947. It meant that the message for Hindu society was forget whatever happened before 1947.”
Kokje made it clear that VHP is firm on its decision to build temples in Kashi Vishwanath and Mathura. “After Ram Janam Bhoomi, we would decide on temples in Varanasi and Mathura. There are scores of temples which were demolished to build mosques. We have to remove the mosques and VHP will take the call.” “Whether there it is an ordinance or legislature has to decide if judiciary fails to deliver. There are certain matters in which judiciary cannot decide. We have approached the general public now.
The VHP is planning similar congregations across 12 districts.
