4 killed, 7 injured in separate accidents in Hisar, Karnal

HISAR/KARNAL: Two youths were killed and three others injured after the car in which they were travelling collided with a tractor-trolley near Rajali village in the district in the wee hours of Saturday.

Police said the youths were going to Panchkula for appearing in the examinatio­n for clerical posts of Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC). The incident took place around 4 am.

The deceased were identified Kuldeep Singh, 24, and Surender Singh (25), both residents of Kheri village of Hisar.

The injured were admitted to the civil hospital, Hisar. Two of them, identified as Deepak and Sanjay, were critical.

Police spokespers­on Chander Bhan said the bodies of the deceased were sent to hospital for autopsy. A case of rash driving has been registered against the unknown tractor driver.

The bodies of the deceased were sent to Hisar hospital for postmortem. In another road accident, two people were killed and two others sustained injuries on Karnal-Assandh road.

Police said the deceased have been identified as Robin Singh (29) of Karnal and Laxman (65) of Jundla village of the district.

The injured , Varun and Lovepreet have been admitted the Karnal’s civil hospital.

The police said the accident took place on Friday night when a car in which Robin, Varun and Lovepreet were traveling hit a cyclist, Laxman, near Jundla village.

The car got overturned after the accident and Robin and Laxman died on the spot.

Sajjan Kumar, in-charge of Jundla police post, said the police have registered a case under Section 304 A and 279 against the car driver.
