This constituency has suffered a lot in the past due to lack of development and being away from the political centre. However, I have tried to develop this area by improving education, water and power infrastructure.

He entered politics as a student leader and was twice elected as the president of Hodal govt college. He fought elections for the first time in ’09, but lost. In 2014, he contested and won. He recently joined the BJP.
Constituency primer: Hathin assembly segment in Palwal district is a part of Faridabad parliamentary constituency. It abuts the Meo-Muslim dominated constituencies of Punhana, Ferozepur Jhirka and Nuh in Mewat region. The constituency has a dominant Meo-Muslim vote bank followed by Jats, Scheduled Castes and Brahmins.

2014: INLD Kehar Singh defeated BJP’s Harsh Kumar by 6,372 votes. 2009: Independent Jaleb Khan defeated Cong’s Harsh by 6,473 votes. 2005: Independent Harsh Kumar defeated Cong’s Jaleb Khan by 8,830 votes.
